Robert E. Korhan, 90, Woodland Terrace, Duncansville, died Monday at his residence.

He was born in Youngstown, Ohio, son of the late John and Elizabeth (Hrubovsky) Korhan. In 1955, he married Rosemary Duffy of Altoona at Mount Carmel Church, Niles, Ohio.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years; four sons: Doug (Michelle) in Ohio, Jeff (Leslie) in Illinois, Bob of Mount Union and Michael (Lucille) in California; and five grandchildren.

Robert was a graduate of Ohio State University and the Akron University School of Law, receiving a juris doctorate. He retired as Director of Human Resources for Chemcut Corp. He then worked for PennDOT in Hollidaysburg for 14 years, retiring at 74. He served in the U.S Army.

He was one of the founders and past presidents of the Private Industry Council of Centre County and a member of the Centre County Healthcare coalition. He was also a member of St. Michael the Arch Angel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, where he was formerly an usher.

Robert enjoyed golf and bowling, and he was an avid reader.

At the request of the deceased, all services will be private. Committal will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
