RAYMOND A. RINAS

Raymond A. Rinas, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018. Ray and his late wife, Betty were among founding members St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Ray was born February 17, 1928 in Egeland, ND, the eighth of ten children of Adolph and Albertina Rinas. He was raised in Egeland, ND where he graduated from high school. He met the love of his life, Betty, at a dance and after a whirlwind courtship, they were married on June 24, 1950 and moved to Kansas City. They relocated to Raytown in 1954 where Ray started his own plumbing business, R.A. Rinas Plumbing, with a fleet of pink trucks well known in the area. Ray was involved in many other business partnerships over the years. Ray was an Honorary Life member of the Knights of Columbus Council 4962.
