Brother Knight William R. Ponton passed away on Thursday November 15, 2018. Unfortunately, we learned of his death after the funeral and Mass of Christian Burial had occurred. You may read Brother Ponton's obituary below. Brother Ponton took the 1-3rd degrees in 1970-71 and accomplished 48 years of Continuous Service to the Knights of Columbus. He was an Honorary Life Member of Montgomery Council 2323.

(and Sharon) Ponton, Constance (and the late Gary) Higgins, Martine (and James) Coleman, and the late Beverly A. Kerns; father-in-law of Dale Kerns; Brother of Patrick H., Joseph W., Robert C., and Michael D. Ponton and Mary Ellen Redfern; proud grandfather of 13; great grandfather of 8.
The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 9200 Kentsdale Drive, Potomac, MD 20854 on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 from 12-1 PM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
