James P. Ginty, 84 years old, a long time resident of Smithtown passed away on October 15, 2018. Jim was born to Irish immigrants in the Bronx and served in the Marine Corp in Korea from 1953 to 1954. He was a FDNY Firefighter for 34 years in Squad 2 and Ladder 42. Jim was a founding member of the FDNY Pipes and Drums . Jim was also an active and Honorary Lifetime member of the Sts Philip and James Knights of Columbus. |
