Michael J. Grassmuck, Sr., age 82, of Waxahachie, passed away early Tuesday morning, August 7, 2018 at Baylor Scott & White, Waxahachie. He was born September 19, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to William Lawrence Grassmuck, Sr. and Anne Agnes (Ryan) Grassmuck. Michael served in the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed building balsa wood airplanes, playing darts on his team at the VFW, calling bingo at the Waxahachie Senior Citizen Center and also exercising at the senior center. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Grassmuck; four daughters, Denise Garcia and husband Severiano, Renee Grassmuck and fiancé Gary Estes, Anne Grassmuck and Catherine Yandell and husband Gary; grandchildren, William Aldridge, Patricia Aldridge, Brad Grassmuck and wife Angela, Colleen Burton and husband Jason, Jennifer Bailey and husband Dyllan, Trevor Grassmuck and wife Zahndria, Kaleigh Grassmuck and Brynna Grassmuck; great grandchildren, Chyna, Arabella, Brandon, Caliana, David, Matthew, Kollin, Mason and Zoe; one sister, Mary Josephine Grassmuck and numerous nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by two sons, Michael, Jr. and Kevin; great granddaughter, Catherine; two sisters, Mary and Pat and one brother, Bill, Jr.
