Brother Knight Joseph Heller passed away on September 10, 2018.
He took the 1-3rd degrees in 1968 and was an Honorary Life Member of Montgomery Council.
Born in Washington, D.C. August 7, 1937; resided in Silver Spring, Maryland
A native Washingtonian, he grew up working in the family business, Heller Bakeries, prior to joining Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, where he worked for many years. Beloved husband of 42 years of Joyce M. Heller; loving father of Theresa Heller, Michael (and Sandra) Heller, Kathy (and Darin) Ridgley, Kelly (and Jeff) Stahley, and Andy (and Charity) Ryder; Pop-Pop of Paige, Alexandra, Drew, Simon, C.J., Lucy and Charlie; brother of Mary Ann Roberts and Gutrum Kahler. Mr. Heller loved his family, the beach, his dogs, the Washington Redskins, and a cold beer.
