Complete registration includes a complete degree kit presented by a council officer to the host council registrar. A complete kit consist of the following: completed form 100, KofC Rosary, KofC lapel pin, "These Men They Call Knights" booklet, completed Membership Card. The Candidate's form 100 will be returned to the council officer once registration is complete and the Candidate's council will be responsible for submitting it to the Supreme Council.

If you have a Catholic friend or family member who might be interested in joining the Knights of Columbus, please invite him to join by contacting your Membership Director and/or Grand Knight to arrange a meeting with him as soon as possible. As a fellow Brother, please make every effort to attend and support the candidates who will join our brotherhood at this time.

It is my pleasure to announce that the Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Joseph G O' Donohue Council #4709, in Fort Worth, Texas will be hosting a Knight in a Day in Spanish - Admission, Formation and Knighthood (1st, 2nd & 3rd Degrees) on Saturday, September 28,2019. The Mass will be held at St. George Catholic Church, 3500 Maurice Dr. Fort Worth, TX 76111. After Mass the Council Hall at 3809 Yucca Ave., Fort Worth, TX 76111, will be set up for all degree ceremony activities.

The dress code for the day will be what you wear to Sunday Mass, but please no shorts. There is no cost for the candadites and his lady on this day. the cost for members and guest will be $5.00 per person for the meal. Remember that the Fort Worth Chapter is a leader in the state for tradition and this event will be considred as such. We are expecting a mimimum of 35 candidates. Councils be sure you have all form 100's. Medallions and Rosary kits will be provided: each council will be assessed for the cost on each of your candidates. Please be sure at least one or more members from your council is there to escort your candidates.

  • 9:30 Degree Work will begin and conclude around noon or so                   

  • At conclusion of Degree Work there will be a lunch in the Parish Hall (candidate's families are welcome)


 


Councils should provide medallions with accompanying council members for the degree.  A limited number or medallions may be available (with a cost to your council) there will be no other cost.
