SHINE Music Fest sponsored by Knights of Columbus

DuPontaris Council #845 Knights of Columbus is one of the sponsors for the Shine Music Fest to be held Saturday, July 20th at Gould Park in Morris. Knights are needed to support the food booth. More information about Shine Fest can be found at Brother Knights who can volunteer are asked to contact Brother Jeff Neste or Worthy Financial Secretary Rich Moravec. Kim DesLauriers 2019 Victor Cardosi award winner from DuPontaris Council

Brother Kim DesLauriers, retiring principal of Immaculate Conception School, has been selected as our council's winner for the Victor Cardosi award. The Cardosi award is presented annually by the Joliet Chapter of the Knights of Columbus to brother Knights who represent the best of the principles of Charity, Unity and Fraternity.


Kim will be honored at a dinner and Recognition Ceremony on Sunday, May 19th, 2019. The dinner and ceremony will be held at the Bloomingdale Country Club, 181 Glen Ellyn Road, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. Limited reservations are available before May 7th. Please contact treasurer Jake Kluch if you are interested in attending.

Knights support Illinois Valley Industries with Tootsie Rolls

DuPontaris Council #845 distributes all the funds collected from the annual "Tootsie Roll" drive for Intellectual Disabilites. A large portion of the funds supports Illinois Valley Industries in Morris. IVI's mission is to "help people participate in their community, live independently, contribute to society and enhance the quality of their lives."


DuPontaris Council is proud to support this community service organization.
