KNIGHT OF THE YEAR 2020 Ed Donnelly

Congratulations to Ed for all the contributions made in 2020.  It was a timely effort to lead the Return Label Fund-Raising program, as the pandemic did not allow for other events this year.  Approximately $9,000 was raised !.  We also recognize Ed for his overall leadership in Coffee Run, and for injecting life back into the Lecturer position in the council.

Coffee Run Council Total Hours of Service 2019

Each year, members of Knights of Columbus, Coffee Run Council, and it's Ladies Auxiliary respond to a survey about their volunteer service to a wide range of fraternal activities benefiting others.
For 2019, a summary shows volunteer hours in the following activities:
1. Faith and Church service activities were 4,690 hours.
2. Family service activities were 1,622 hours.
3. Community service activities were 3,351 hours..
4. Respect Life service activities were 707 hours
The total reported were 10,370 volunteer hours.
Also, the report shows members made 256 visits to the sick and bereaved and gave 49 blood donations during the year.
In addition, through it's various fundraising activities, the Coffee Run Council donated $37,317 to church, schools and charities under those same banners.
The report is combined with all other councils worldwide to show the breadth and reach of the good works of the Knights of Columbus.
We invite all men of St. Mary's to join us in our mission as "The Strong Right Arm of the Church".
