Suffolk Charity Drive

  Don't forget to send in your chance books from the Suffolk Chapter. The drawing is taking place on June 14th, so you have to return the books in the next 2 weeks. The books are $15 for 15 chances to win $2500 ( first prize ) $1000 (second prize ) or $500 (third prize ) The money raised on these chance books help support Children with special needs, Coats for Kids, Maria Regina nursing home, Food for Families and other worthy causes.

Memorial Day

Because of the Corona virus, we cannot honor our deceased members, as we do every Memorial Day with a ceremony at the Council. Please say a prayer for our deceased members and for brothers Walter DeVivo,William Chiasson,John Malony, and Donald Smith,who all passed away this Columbian year.

Ducks Game

  We are planning our annual trip to the Long Island Ducks on July 28th. ( fireworks night).

We have been going every year since the inception of the Ducks and it's always a great night out.  Sadly, because of the Corona virus, we don't even know if there will be a season this year, so keep checking back on this website for updates.

Council Lottery

  The Council Lottery will end for the summer, as it does every year. It will start again in September. For those of you not familiar with it, we sell lottery tickets bi monthly at $5 a ticket. You get to choose your number (1 to 999 ). If your number comes in on any day of the month, you win $50 or $100 on Sundays. Also, you win $10 if your number is one below or one above the NY State daily number.

Member Passing

  Joseph N McMahon. an Honorary Life member of our Council, passed away on April 8th, due to the Covid-19 virus. He is survived by 3 daughters ( Terry, Patty and Colleen) and 6 grandchildren. Joseph was very involved in the Bay Shore community in his early years, belonging to the KofC, Hibernians and the Loyal Order of Moose. RIP

Ailing Brother

Bill Chaisson, a long time member, is recuperating from a back injury at Maria Regina nursing home in Brentwood. Bill would love to have visits from his brother Knights, so stop in if you can.

Free Throw Contest

We will be holding our annual Free throw contest on January 14th from 9am to 12pm at St. Patrick's gym. The competition is open to boys and girls between the ages of 9 and 14. It is a statewide competition and winners advance to the next round, with a chance to make the State finals. For info call Frank 516 658 1369 or Jack 631 666 4939.

Corned Beef Dinner

We will be holding our Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage dinner on Thursday, March 15th from 5 to 8 PM. Tickets are $16 ($18 at door) and include corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, Irish soda bread and unlimited beer, wine and soda. Childrens platters of chicken tenders and mac and cheese will be available for $6, so bring the whole family. For tickets, call Jack at 631 666 4939.

Ducks Game

  We held our annual outing to the Long Island Ducks on July 11th. This year, we were lucky enough to get tickets to the All Star game. We had 73 people attend, and we got to see a great game capped off by a Grucci fireworks show after the game.
