  As we do every year, we assembled a contingent of members to guard St. Patrick's cemetery on Halloween night. Major damage was caused by vandals years ago, and since that time, the KofC has supplied members to stand guard and prevent damage. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out.

Food Drive

  The meeting on November 12th, will be your last chance to donate food that we bring to the St. Patrick's Hospitality center. We need canned vegetables, stuffing, instant potatoes or supermarket gift cards. This year, more than ever, there are a lot of people who need assistance these holidays.

Council Blood Drive

Our Council will be hosting a Blood drive on Thursday, November 12th from 2 to 8 PM. (Meeting Night). Please spread the word amoung your friends and neighbors as blood is in very short supply right now because of the Pandemic.

Member Passing

  Joseph N McMahon. an Honorary Life member of our Council, passed away on April 8th, due to the Covid-19 virus. He is survived by 3 daughters ( Terry, Patty and Colleen) and 6 grandchildren. Joseph was very involved in the Bay Shore community in his early years, belonging to the KofC, Hibernians and the Loyal Order of Moose. RIP

Council Lottery

  The Council Lottery will end for the summer, as it does every year. It will start again in September. For those of you not familiar with it, we sell lottery tickets bi monthly at $5 a ticket. You get to choose your number (1 to 999 ). If your number comes in on any day of the month, you win $50 or $100 on Sundays. Also, you win $10 if your number is one below or one above the NY State daily number.


Ducks Game

  We held our annual outing to the Long Island Ducks on July 11th. This year, we were lucky enough to get tickets to the All Star game. We had 73 people attend, and we got to see a great game capped off by a Grucci fireworks show after the game.

  As most of you are probably aware, the Corporation is going thru rough times as we have not had any functions since March. The 3 Examiners weill be working hand in hand with the Treasurer to help us decide on the distribution of any income. They will be meeting on a regular monthly basis.


  We are planning our annual trip to the Long Island Ducks on July 28th. ( fireworks night).

We have been going every year since the inception of the Ducks and it's always a great night out.  Sadly, because of the Corona virus, we don't even know if there will be a season this year, so keep checking back on this website for updates. The Ducks have decided not to play this year because of the virus.

Suffolk Charity Drive

  Don't forget to send in your chance books from the Suffolk Chapter. The drawing is taking place on June 14th, so you have to return the books in the next 2 weeks. The books are $15 for 15 chances to win $2500 ( first prize ) $1000 (second prize ) or $500 (third prize ) The money raised on these chance books help support Children with special needs, Coats for Kids, Maria Regina nursing home, Food for Families and other worthy causes.
