Vivat Jesu! I hope this message finds you in good health and Spirits. May is a month that we remember our deceased Veterans, as well as Police, Firefighters and First Responders. We should also pray for all Veterans who are suffering from the wounds of War. Keep in mind Veterans who are homeless, homebound, in nursing homes and anguished by PTSD, hidden physical and mental pain... Thank you to all Veterans, Police, Firefighters and First Responders, who have served and to all current troops serving around the world! Our 4th Degree Assembly 2194 Color Corps will be presenting a wreath at the Veterans Memorial at Sebastian Riverview Park on Memorial Day, May 27, 11: a.m.
Our Knight of the Month for March was Mark Barletta. Mark has been an outstanding Knight in so many ways. Mark organized our Annual Deceased Members Memorial Mass this year. Mark is our Council Chancellor and has also taken on the task of revitalizing our Deceased Members Plaques. Please congratulate Brother Knight Frank when you see him!
Mark your calendars for the annual 4th of July Sebastian City Parade. We will be assembling and decorating our Float July 1 & 2 (3 if necessary). Bring your hand tools, cleaning equipment etc. each morning by 9 a.m. We will have coffee & doughnuts each morning, including the 4th parade. Bring your family to ride on our Float on the 4th. You will need to meet at our Float by 7:45 a.m. starting at the beginning of North Central Ave. (by the City Community Center). We will be passing out K of C Information as well as our Tootsie Rolls once again. We will once again proudly show our banner: “One Nation Under God!” This gives us good exposure to the public!
Fraternally, and Vivat Jesu!
