Saturday May 11 Tootsie Roll Drive

Secondly, Saturday May 11th is our Tootsie Roll Drive.  We will hold our Semi Annual Drive at the Farmers Market 1105 Northside Blvd, South Bend.  Bob Ramesh is coordinating the event.  He needs Knights to work all three shifts.  Please call Bob at 574-286-4460 to sign up for one of the three shifts.  The shifts run from 7:30 to 9:30,  9:30 to 11:30, and 11:30 to 1:30.  Please give two hours of your time for this most worthy event.  We do not sell the candy.  We give it away and people make a donation to our Cause.  All of the donations go toward Helping People with Intellectual Abilities.  Through this campaign, we help to recognize the dignity of every person!  Please Give Bob a Call and Sign Up!

There will not be a meeting on the 4th Monday of May (May 27th)…It’s Memorial Day! Be safe! God bless our fallen military! Say a prayer for the Faithful Departed and Holy Souls in Purgatory!

Say a Prayer for Gil Martin.  He has had a tough time this last year with multiple strokes.  Now he is having trouble with eye sight.  He is being treated, however, currently he is blind in both eyes as they work to save his sight.

Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians.

Look for more information about a Presentation of an Icon (Painting) for Our Lady Help of Persecuted Christians.  With all that is happening to Christians around the world, this is a timely presentation and service that we feel confident will be presented through our council.
