VENMO is available as a payment option in certain merchant apps, and you can pay with Venmo many places where you see the PayPal button. In order to checkout using Venmo, you will need to have the Venmo app installed on your mobile phone and will need to opt-in to make purchases. Then, depending on the merchant, you can pay with Venmo in one of the following ways:
- Simply tap the PayPal button on a mobile device to launch the PayPal checkout experience. A Venmo payment option will appear on the next page if offered.
- Please keep in mind that in order to see the option to pay with Venmo, you will need to have Venmo currently installed on your phone, be checking out with an eligible PayPal merchant, and not have configured PayPal OneTouch. For more information about how to change PayPal OneTouch settings, please see this support article: https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/one-touch-checkout/faq
Please realize that when a member does not pay their dues, the Council still has to pay the Supreme per-capita ($4.50) and State per-capita ($8.00) for each member. When you pay your dues then the per-capita costs are covered and the remaining money is used to assist with all of our charitable works!
All dues in arrears prior to 2018 were waived by a vote of the membership. If you have not paid the dues for 2018 then your dues statement will reflect what you owe for 2018 and 2019. A current membership card will not be issued if you owe outstanding dues. You must present a current membership card to gain admittance to all Council meetings and activities.
Some members may have a legitimate reason for not being able to pay their dues such as a disability, unemployment, or other financial hardship. Please contact the Council if that is the case and we will discuss the matter as there are options available.
Concerning disability, if you qualify, please complete the form below and return it to the Council Hall upon completion along with the required proof. A member that qualifies for disability relief does not have to pay dues, and the Council does not have to pay per-capita dues for that member.

Please use the Pay Now button below if you are able to make a special Gift or Donation to Santa Maria Council. You do not need to be a member of our Council to make a donation to our Council. Your special gift will be used to enhance and continue the many charitable activities that have been an important part of this identity of this council.
