Bob Bottelson Rosary/Funeral

Fri, 4/9 1:30PM Funeral: Bob's Funeral is scheduled for Friday, April 9th, 1:30pm, at LOTW.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of our beloved brother Bob and for his family.

Receive in tranquility and peace, O Lord, the soul of your servant who has departed this present life to come to You. Grant him rest and place him in the habitations of light, the abodes of blessed spirits. Give him the life that will not age, good things that will not pass away, delights that have no end, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

GK Notes

Our prayer intention this month is to pray the Prayer of St. Ephrem.  I found a couple of different versions and have attached one for everyone to start with.  I find myself substituting traits and practices that I am currently struggling with, and traits and practices I wish I had more of.  Once you start praying it, you will know what I am talking about.  I think it is always good to learn new prayers that can help us out on our journey through life.

O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of laziness, meddling, ambition and vain talk.

But give me the spirit of prudence, humility, patience, and love.

Yes, Lord and King, grant me to see my own sin and faults, and not judge my brother.  For you are blessed forever and ever. . Amen.

Thanks brothers,

GK Matt, 720-724-1558

Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Michael McGivney:

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer Requests

4/1/: Please take some time to pray for Diane Martin, sister of Bob, Dave, and Jim Lundstrom. Diane was in a serious car accident this morning resulting in serious and quite painful injuries. Please pray for Diane's comfort, relief from the significant pain, and for a quick and full recovery.

3/17: Please take some time to pray for the Repose of the Soul of Brother Anthony Martinez, Grandfather of Brother Mike Holm.  Please also pray for Brother Anthony's family.  As you can see from the information provided by Brother Mike Holm, our Brother Anthony was a dedicated veteran, family man, and brother Knight, who had a remarkable life.

3/9: Please take some time to pray for Brother Frank Seagren's nephew, Logan. Our brother Logan suffered a heart attach at 34 years old, and had stint put in.  He is resting comfortably, but he and the family could use some prayers.
