Prayer for the Canonization of Blessed Michael McGivney:

God, our Father, protector of the poor and defender of the widow and orphan, you called your priest, Blessed Michael McGivney, to be an apostle of Christian family life and to lead the young to the generous service of their neighbor. Through the example of his life and virtue, may we follow your Son, Jesus Christ, more closely, fulfilling his commandment of charity and building up his Body which is the Church. Let the inspiration of your servant prompt us to greater confidence in your love so that we may continue his work of caring for the needy and the outcast. We humbly ask that you glorify Blessed Michael McGivney on earth according to the design of your holy will. Through his intercession, grant the favor I now present (here make your request). Through Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer Requests

2/15: It is with sadness the I regret to inform you of the passing of one of our brothers, Dale Brinkman.  Brother Dale joined the Knights and our council in May of 2010.  Brother Dale passed away on February 9th, 2021 after a long illness.

A private Mass is being held tomorrow for Brother Dale, but it will be live streamed for those of you that wish to pay your respects. Brother Dale's passion was helping at Hope House, an organization committed to empowering the lives of teen mothers. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Brother Dale, and for his family at this most difficult time.

Eternal rest grant unto Dale, 0 Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.   May Dale's soul and the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. We will plan on scheduling a time to pray a Rosary for our brother Dale, sometime later this week.

1/22: Here is another update on Howard and Cheryl.  Cheryl Wolff is at home now and recovering nicely with Brother Deris by her side. I also spoke with Laurie Lang and Brother Howard Lang.  Howard is in a lot of pain and on heavy pain killers to help him get through the post-surgery discomfort. He expects to be released from the hospital sometime this afternoon.  Please continue to pray for them both.

1/22: SK Don Miller's brother, Albert Miller, passed away last evening.

1/21: Please take some time to pray for the healing of Dylan Striebel, nephew of Brother Rick Brentrup.  Dylan recently had surgery resulting in a serious infection post-op, generating another surgery this morning to clean out the infection.  Please pray that the procedure was successful and for a full and speedy recovery.

1/15: Please pray for the Repose of the Soul of the Mother of SK John Bullock Jr., Mrs. Dixie Bullock

1/15: Please pray for our sister Diane Christian, wife of brother Bill Christian.  Diane suffered a fall from her wheelchair

1/7: Please pray for Johnny Torrez, brother-in-law of SK Dan Garcia.  Our brother Johnny was diagnosed with COVID and is currently on a ventilator in the ICU at Lutheran Hospital.
