Knights honor the fallen veterans on Memorial Day by playing Taps and posting flags on each Veterans Grave at 3 cemeteries in Texarkana.

Knights of Columbus Council 1003 with the help of Sacred Heart Church of Texarkana TX. And With our other District Council 6699 Mt Pleasant, Pittsburg, Mt Vernon , TX and Council 10660 Atlanta TX. Have all helped raise funds the the First Choice Mobile Ultrasound machine for the North East Texas area.

The long standing tradition of the 4th Degree, Sir Knights in Regalia, (the single most recognizable feature of the Patriotic Degree) was dismantled by a "progressive" Supreme, and replaced by a nondescript "uniform" without a patriotic flag.

Council Announcements


Every Thursday from 7-9 PM Adults with Disabilities Dance. This dance is open to any adult with a disability and caregivers. This CHARITY event is open and there is no admission charge. Refreshments can be purchased at the snack bar and are sold at cost.   A DJ or Band will provide music to dance.  1801 Waterall, Texarkana TX   Knights of Columbus Hall.      No Change to Disability Dance Location


WE HAVE MOVED from 1801 Waterall, Texarkana TX,  Our Knights of Columbus Meeting location will at Sacred Heart Catholic Church property, The former Boy Scout Troop 3 HUT will be the new meeting location, Socials most likely will be in the Parish Hall, more to follow.


Knights of Columbus meetings occur on MONDAY nights Each Meeting begins at 7:00 PM


2nd Monday = Business Meeting (Charity, Unity, Fraternity), All KofC members are welcome to attend. This is called to order by the Grand Knight and all Council Officers and members at large are expected to attend.


3rd Monday = The Fourth Degree (Patriotism) Business Meeting. All 4th Degree, Sir Knights, are welcome to attend. This is called to order by the Faithful Navigator and all Assembly Officers and Sir Knights are expected to attend. 


4th Monday = regularly scheduled Monthly Pot Luck Social,A meat is prepared and members provide a "pot luck" side dish, salad, or desert to share with fellow members. New Member Prospects, Families, and all Knights are invited.
