Knights of Columbus Council 5750 takes great pleasure in designating you as our “Knight of the Year” for Fraternal Year 2020 - 2021. Your stellar efforts on behalf of this council have certainly not been confined to this year though. You have kept the council finances in order during tight financial times for the council for several years! Additionally, you:



have prepared the council taxes for the past three years instead of using a tax preparer.
worked as a pull tab seller at bingo until the council suspended bingo operations.
took over as Chairman of the Club Corp. when no one else would take the position.
took over as building manager of the Club Corp., coordinating hall rentals and hall maintenance.
worked tirelessly with our realtor to find a buyer for our aging council home. This included two deals that fell through before finally finding a buyer.
closed a deal on the sale of the council home after many months of negotiations.
continuously updated the council on the progression of the sale of the building.
once the building was sold, prepared a plan with an oversight committee established by the Past Grand Knight to invest the money for the council which will hopefully provide financial sustainability for the council in perpetuity.


Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Angels Parish. Your authentic example of a Catholic gentleman is truly inspirational to all the members of Council 5750 and undoubtedly to many more men and women outside our council.
