Our knight of the Month for June is Bill Ressler. Bill has served as the Faithfull navigator of our Assembly for the past year and has done a very good job. He is always helping out some of the other Catholic Churches in our area. Thank you Bill for everything that you do. |

John Wilson
Our knight of the Month for May is without question one of the most inspirational, hardworking and committed people in this room. He worked hard at all of the events this past month from the start of the activity to the finish as he does at most of our undertakings. There are not too many activities that we do that this brother is not a part of. I am very happy to present the May Knight of the Month to Sir Knight John Wilson. |

Kent Booker
Kent Booker has been selected as the Knight of the Month for April. Through all of the activities this past month Kent has helped make each of them successful as well as continuing to take care of the food for family’s program. Kent has also agreed to step up in another way that will become evident later in the meeting. |

Gary Harmon
Gary came up with the idea last month to present the new Matthew Kelly book, Beautiful Grace, to the parish as a gift from the Knights of Columbus. He purchased 750 books and we passed them out after the masses two weeks ago. This was a great project and was appreciated by many in our parish. As if that weren’t enough, Gary just got back from a two-week mission trip to Haiti. Gary has truly exemplified the image of the Knights of Columbus that we should strive for. |

Glen Paszek
Glen has worked very hard over the past month and a half as the driving force behind the Fish Fry committee. He has coordinated with Frank Peirce and all of the crew that did the purchasing ensuring that our Chefs had what they needed to cook. Glen also created and distributed all of the posters and flyers that are around the church advertising for us. He also coordinated all of the adjustments that were made through the 6 weeks that made each fry better than the last. Thanks to Glen’s dedication, we have been successful. |

Jerry Claudio
Jerry Claudio has been selected as our knight of the month for February. Gerry currently serves as our Council Program director and has done a very good job. He is involved in many things in our parish and is always available to help out a brother. Gerry volunteers every week in the room in the inn as a set up person, or as an innkeeper. Gerry continues to exemplify Charity, the first principle of our order. Congratulations to Gerry for being selected as February knight of the Month. |

Tony Amadeo
Tony Amadeo was selected as our knight of the Month for January. Tony’s commitment to our church, the Knights of Columbus and our council is undeniable. Tony currently serves the Tennessee State Council as District Deputy for district 6 which covers Ashland City, Clarksville, and Dickson. He ensures that all of the Grand Knights are doing their jobs and are aware of all of the upcoming state and Supreme requirements. Tony also serves our council as a Trustee and our public relations person which he does a very good job keeping all of us informed about our activities. Tony is also very involved in our Pro-life group. |

Ed Wilson
The knight of the Month for December was selected for his contributions to this council, our parish and community. Without this knight’s dedication to our council and assembly, we would most certainly not be successful. This knight’s commitment to this council is only one of his many contributions. He also serves our Parish on the parish council, he serves our youth through our scouting programs, and he serves our community by his involvement in the Disabled American veterans, and as the president of our KC home committee. With my most sincere gratitude the knight of the month for December is Ed Wilson. |

Dwight Nicholson
Dwight Nicholson is selected as the knight of the month for November. Dwight joined us this year and has been very active in our council and parish. Dwight was one of the brothers that helped ensure that all of our Turkey Fry equipment was serviceable a couple weeks prior to the event. He donated a fryer that proved to be very much needed when one of our other fryers failed. Dwight also works as an innkeeper for the room in the inn on Thursday nights and is a sponsor for one of our RCIA candidates. We appreciate everything that Dwight does for our Council, parish and community. |

Jerry Shircel
Brother Jerry Shercil has been selected as our knight of the month for October. Jerry joined us in September and completed his second and third degrees in October. In October he drove the remainder of Father David’s books to him in Dover, and has helped out selling Turkey tickets after masses and helped out set up for the 4th degree exemplification dinner. Thanks to Jerry for his hard work since joining us. |

Richard Meeks
Brother Dickey Meeks was selected as our Knight of the month for December. During September, Dickey spent many hours preparing BBQ, that he donated, and selling the BBQ for our fundraiser benefiting the two parishioners that are awaiting organ transplants. Because of Dickey we were able to raise over $1000.00 for the cause. He also spent many hours preparing BBQ, setting up and running a food booth at the international festival raising over $400.00 for the parish. Dickey’s generosity truly exemplifies the first principle of our order, charity. |

Bob Garretson
Brother Bob Garretson has been selected as our Knight of the month for August. Bob reached out to a brother knight in need of help and went all out to ensure that he and his family got the help that they needed. Bob also volunteers his time visiting the sick in the hospital every week. Bob’s actions exemplify the first and third degrees of charity and fraternity. Thanks Bob for everything that you have done and continue to do. |

Greg Orr
Greg Orr has been selected as the Knight of the Month for July. Greg’s commitment to this council is evident as he is always participating in our council activities whenever he is able to. In July, during our MR foundation drive was no different. He was a volunteer at every mass during the Drive. Greg has also volunteered as a CCD teacher for the 7th grade CCD class. Thanks Greg for everything that you do for out council and our Parish. |

Kent Booker
Our Knight of the month for June is Brother Kent Booker. Kent joined us in April and has been a man of action. In June he came to our council spring cleaning event early and stayed late to help clean up. He came back again on Monday to buff the floor after the wax had dried and reset all of the tables and do some other tasks as well. We are truly blessed to have Kent with us and look forward to having him as part our fraternity in the future. |

Reyes Jonny
Brother Jonny Reyes was selected this month as our knight of the month for May. Jonny is a new brother knight who joined us in February and has been involved in nearly every event that we’ve had. In May, he came to our Mother’s day brunch and helped out doing what seems to be his new favorite job, washing dishes. He also helped cook hot dogs and hamburgers in support of the CCD Picnic. Jonny has also been lending a hand to help out other brother knights in their time of need. Thanks to Jonny for his commitment to our council. |

Scott Donnellan
Scott Donnellan is selected as Knight of the Month for April. Scott is responsible for organizing our Belk Charity fund raiser. He worked every Saturday in April ensuring that we successfully covered our allotted time periods and any that came open. Thanks to Scott we raised funds to support our activities. |

Patrick Schuman
Brother Patrick Schuman was selected as our Knight of the month for all of the work that he does for our council. In March he was involved in the all of Fish Fries, he helped us prepare dinner for the Room in the Inn guests as he does every month, and he was at every mass on the weekend that we held our membership drive. Patrick also works behind the scenes. Most recently he has been working on a new member guide which, when complete, will provide our new members with a history of our council, but also an outline of how our council works. Thanks to Patrick for his dedication to our council and congratulations for being selected as the March Knight of the Month. |

Brother Joe Gunn was selected as our Knight of the month for all of the work that he does for our council. In February he was involved in the preparations for the Fish Fry as part of the planning committee. He also has shown the true spirit of a knight in his service to the parish by being a sponsor of an RCIA Candidate. Congratulations to Joe for being selected as the February Knight of the Month. |

November 2014
Peter Oelgeotz
Pete Oelgoetz is selected as the knight of the month for November for an improvement project that was completed at the IC School. Pete coordinated the project to assemble a partition above one of the bathrooms in the gymnasium at the school. He brought the project idea to the council, secured the funding (Thomas Meeks), designed the partition, purchased the materials, built the partition coordinated a team to complete the installation, and coordinated a team to go back later and paint a similar partition on the other bathroom. I appreciate the fact that Pete saw this project through from inception to completion. Pete showed the commitment and dedication that inspires us all. For this reason Pete was selected as knight of the Month for November. |
