When we bought the truck terminal back in 1972, Paul took the 10 heavy garage doors down for us. If you didn't know what you were doing with the heacy springs, one could easily get hurt. We are very thankful that Pual came to help. Paul has been very supportive of our Council throughout the years and still helps with out Tootsie Roll drives, works on our grounds crew - trimming the bushes, and he and wife Sandy are on one of the fish fry crews. This past October, Paul not only installed the garage doors for out new garage, but he also donated the doors. Great job Paul, they look great. Paul and Sandy raised four children - Todd, Scott, Jodi and Tracy and they have 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. |

Albert Tennies
Al is a long time supporter of our Council. Al got his experiences in the construction business by working for his dad at Ben Tennies Construction. After several years, Al decided to form his own construction company and never looked back. In 1970 when the National Moose went to a members only club, we got kicked out as a renter there and we met in various church basements. Al was part of our building committee when we purchased the CW Transit property in January of 1973. His expertise in construction and remodeling were much appreciated. In 1977, our hall was deemed too small and Al got the bid to add a basement for storage and add 30 feet to the south of the building. Al also was part of the kitchen crew and steak fry fundraisers to help pay for the hall. Recently, Al and his son Jeff put up the new garage at our clubhouse. Thanks Al, its looking good. Al and wife Sally worked at the Amity Outlet Store for many years. They are members of Holy Angels parish. |
