The Star Council Home Association hall can be rented to members, as well, as the public. The capacity of our hall is 90 individuals. We have a full kitchen available. The cost to rent the hall is $150 for a regular event. Cleanup is available for an additional $25. If you are having alcohol it is an additional $25. Wedding receptions base price is $300 with the option for alcohol. We also have an outside pavilion for rent with a capacity of 100 people. It includes 13 picnic tables and kitchen facilities. The cost to rent our pavilion is $150. You do have the option of renting both facilities at the same time for a base price of $300 with the options of cleanup and alcohol being extra. To rent both facilities for a wedding reception the cost is $375 with the option of alcohol being extra.

RULES

 

Rental – General Rules

  • No smoking, e-cigarettes or vaping inside the building.
  • Alcohol may not be taken outside the building.
  • Keep music at a reasonable volume (we have neighbors).
  • Please use our cutting boards. Do Not use knives or cutting devices on the counters

Rental – Decorating Rules

  • No tape, glue, adhesive of any type, staples, nails or pushpins of any kind may be used on any surface in the hall, including but not limited to:
    • Walls
    • Doors
    • Ceiling tiles, ceiling support frames, and ceiling hooks
    • Windows
    • Woodwork and Door Frames
    • Counters
    • The cabinet located along the back wall
    • Center support posts
    • Tables and chairs
    • Ceiling hooks
    • Decorating Wire
  • Pushpins (supplied) may only be used on:
    • The cork board strips located above the chair rail
    • The cork board strips located approximately ¾ of the way up from the floor
  • Ceiling hooks are provided for hanging streamers, balloons, and small signs (nothing heavy).
    • Use fishing wire, string, or ribbon only.
    • All materials must be removed from the hooks at the end of the rental.
    • Do not pull on the wire, string, or ribbon, as this may cause ceiling damage or collapse.
  • Wire is provided from the four support posts to each corner and around the perimeter of the posts for hanging decorations.
    • We recommend using clothespins or similar items to attach decorations.
    • All materials must be removed from the wire at the end of the rental.
    • Do not pull decorations down from the wire, as this may pull the hooks out of the walls.
  • No Confetti!
  • If you use a helium ballon canister you MUST take it with you after the event to recycle.
