The Tom and Mary McCloskey Family
The McClosky family, Thomas, Mary, and their children (Peter, Andrew, Luke, and Cecelia) were recognized as the Family of the Year. Thomas has been an active participant in the Knights of Columbus having previously served as a Trustee, Warden, and Co-director for a St. Patrick’s Day Dinner. He is an active participant in the That Man is You program. Mary participates in the women’s group and the entire family volunteers for both parish and Knight’s events. The McCloskey boys are altar servers at daily mass, marriages, funerals and, recently, the Rite of Election presided over by the bishop. Cecelia is in the children's choir and is active in the local American Heritage Girls program where she works in their food pantry, and supports their Wreaths Across America program. Thanks to the McClosky family for all their efforts on behalf of the parish and the Knights.

Paul Zerkow Family
PGK Paul Zerkow and family were recognized for their many acts of volunteerism, and dedication to the Council, as well as their support of St. Margaret of Cortona Transitional Housing, which included landscaping, painting, trash removal, the moving of furniture and every other job associated with the upkeep and maintenance of a residential facility. There were also personal touches like Christmas and Easter basket for both the children and their moms, overseen by daughter, Stephanie. |
