Stephen & Darlene Scheffer
Stephen has been a Knight for 48yesrs and moved to TX in 1985 and joined Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (SEAS) in 1992. He is an EMHC, Acolyte, Volunteer with the RCIA program and currently work for Catholic Charities.
Darlene moved to Texas in 1990 and has been a member of SEAS since 1999. She is a Charter member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas and currently its Regent. She is a Lector, EMHC, leads the Rosary before Mass, and once a month assists Deacon Jerry with bringing Communion to the Conservatory in Keller, TX for the sick and elderly. I have been a Knight for 48yrs. Moved to TX in 1985 and a member of SEAS since 1992. I am an EMHC, Acolyte, Volunteer with the RCIA program and currently work for Catholic Charities.
Darlene moved to Texas in 1990 and a member of SEAS since 1999. She is a Charter member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas and currently its Regent. She Lectors, EMHC, leads the Rosary before Mass and once a month assists Deacon Jerry with bringing Communion to the Conservatory in Keller. She has also helped with Magnificat, a ministry to Catholic Women. She currently works at St. George Catholic School.

We met when we were both serving as Catholic Scripture Study Leaders. For 11yrs. we facilitated several Bible Studies, attended Holy Fire Prayer groups, helped with Cursillo, and attended Ultryas at SEAS. We have also volunteered with the North Texas Marriage Encounter and last year helped with the SEAS Campaign.

When we got married, Stephen already had 2 daughters, that are now married and we have 5 grandchildren-4 girls and a boy. We try to spend time with them when we can and when we do it’s always fun. In July, we will be celebrating our 17 Anniversary.
Our favorite teams are the Cowboys, Rangers and Mavericks.

When, we get a chance to, we like to travel and take road trips. We enjoy making visits to various Catholic churches along the way. We try to go to Mass often; as well as try to go to Adoration.
