This year’s Family of the Year for Monsignor Charles King, Council 4771 is Sir Knight Art, his wife Cindy and their daughter Briana Vasquez. They are Eucharist ministers, volunteer for multiple ministries, in some cases hold leadership positions and support Knights of Columbus events and activities. Quite frequently as a family. They are a fine example of a good and faithful family.

Tom and Kathleen Sands

Tom and Kathleen Sands - Knights of Columbus - Family of the Year, are deeply committed to the Church, family and the KC’s. They participate in the KC Pro-Life holy hour of adoration and regularly provide transportation for people to attend Mass. They serve as Extraordinary Ministers on Sunday when scheduled. Their oldest son became a Knight in college and is a 4th Degree and their youngest son, who also joined in college has reactivated his membership since Tom and Kathleen moved to Denton. Through their example, their younger son and his daughter Lindsay have volunteered to help our council on several occasions, including the wild game dinner. Thank you for being great examples of what parents, grandparents and friends should be.
