2021 - 2022

Austin & Tracey Sewell Family

The Sewell Family was honored and humbled to be selected as the 2022 International KofC Family of the Year. A pleasant surprise to say the least...GOOD TRAINING!

2018 - 2019

Tom and Cathy Warren

Tom and Cathy are our choice for Family of the Year for many reasons, but mostly because they give of their time, talent and treasure selflessly and with the sole purpose of helping those in need. Whether it is a request from our pastor, our council or whether it is simply something that they see fit to volunteer their services, they always find a unique balance between their family time and time helping others. It is also not uncommon to see them with their grandchildren in various parts of Georgia and beyond, not to mention family trips with their sons and daughter. They are the consummate catholic and Christian family who love the Lord and understand what role they play in the betterment of not only their own family, but the families of those in our parish and community as well. They are well respected in many circles as leaders, philanthropists, devout Catholics and, above all, humanitarians. It is for this reason that we believe this dedicated, yet humble family fully deserve to be named St. John Paul II Council's Family of the Year.

2017 - 2018

Mike and Carole Sorrells

Mike and Carole are very involved in our Parish. They both are ushers at Mass (Mike is the coordinator). Carole serves in our Circle of Friends & Welcoming Committee Ministries. They both also participate with our Discipleship Council and sing in our Christmas and Easter choirs (Mike also sings in our Knights Choir).

Mike and Carole are the epitome of a Catholic family. They were married coming up on 29 years, at the same church they serve to this day (St. Theresa's). During that time, they have done nothing but give of their time, talent and treasure. Despite their demanding careers (Mike is a Sr. Project Engineer and Carole is a Business Analyst) and the fact that they live 20+ miles from our church, they still participate regularly in parish, Knight and community events, programs and services. In addition, despite Carole not being Catholic, she routinely dedicates herself to serving our parish and community. All in all, we are blessed to have Mike and Carole as part of our Knight and parish family!

2016 - 2017
