Lee Family

The Lee Family welcomed our council members to their home for a huge BBQ Social Night to try out our brand new grill for the very first time and raise awareness of future fundraisers and programs.

Bir Family

Mike Bir and his wife Jean are very active in the parish and serve as ushers at Saturday mass.
Mike also chairs our Exemplifications and coordinates our Degree team. We recently had our first in person Exemplification in church and it went very well.

Mandato Family

The Mandato's are active members of our Parish. Joe is our Warden and Life Director. They helped our council a lot when we needed it the most during a pandemic and also helped with our end of year BBQ in June.

Nau Family

We want to thank Marty Nau and his wife Nikki for all of their contributions at the Memorial Day Ceremony and Corpus Christi event. Marty led the Color Corps at both events and they both helped put together a wonderful lunch afterwards.

Our Family of the Month goes to Una and Art Lawrence. Una and her husband organize the Ageless Ventures group of retired members of the parish. Una is also a greeter at the 5:00 pm masses on Saturday.

Lee Family

We want to acknowledge Mike and Mary Lee as our Family of the Month for heading up our “Be Mine” Valentine’s Day Flower fundraiser. Mary is a very talented florist and she helped our council raise much needed money during a pandemic. They are also active members of our church. Mike participates in the adoration for our council and keeps parishioners safe crossing the street as a crossing guard between masses. Both Mike and Mary serve as council kitchen team workers for parish and council events.

January 2021

Wagner Family

Dan and his family have developed several new Community Outreach programs from providing furniture to the less fortunate, serving Firehouse subs to our first responders, working the Boxes of Joy campaign, and getting our council involved with helping send food to orphans living in Honduras; a country hard hit by hurricanes and the pandemic. The family is grounded in prayer and faith activities. Both Dan and his daughter Erin have led rosaries after mass to pray for an end to the pandemic.

Jacobs Family

Mike and Robyn Jacobs are very active in our parish community and always go above and beyond for our council. They spend a considerable amount of time and effort coordinating Coats for Kids and the Giving Tree Project to ensure they are successful each year. Over $8K was raised for Coats for Kids and hundreds of coats were donated to children in need. Due to the pandemic, the Giving Tree had to be done online this year. Through the generosity of our parishioners including our brother Knights hundreds of gifts were purchased, wrapped, and are now ready to be distributed to families in need this Christmas.

November 2020

Bir Family

We would like to thank the Bir Family for coordinating our Boxes of Joy Program. They worked hard to set an all time record this year by collecting 207 boxes. Mike and Jean Bir really love this program because it spreads Christmas joy and God’s love to communities going through a very difficult time. Their generosity has helped numerous children living in extreme poverty that are facing devastations from hurricanes to the COVID pandemic.

Kulis Family

Mark and Janice Kulis are both driven to volunteer service helping others in our parish and community. Mark helped us take our parish's recycle bin to the recycle center and for that we would like to thank him. All proceeds from recycling cans were donated to the outreach ministry led by Deacon Jerry.

Piscotti Family

We want to acknowledge the Piscotti family for all that they do for the home school program. They were also in charge of organizing the parish home school picnic this year. They are members of the Arch Home School Group and they had close to 100 people attend this year’s BBQ which was probably an all-time record.

Sweitzer Family

We want to acknowledge the Sweitzer family for Family of the Month. They are strong supporters of the Knights and our council and participate in many of the parish and council activities including virtual prayer events.

Horner Family

The Horner family attends church services together and work many of the parish and council events as a family. They are being recognized for their efforts as a family unit in helping restore a sixty foot wheel chair ramp for a council widow. The work they did required re-staining the ramp after other council members rebuilt several sections that were in need of repair.

Gauldlip Family

Our world has been turned upside down since the coronavirus pandemic. It was especially difficult not being able to attend mass during Holy Week and Easter. For the past several months we have been celebrating mass at St. Peter's virtually and that will continue as we slowly begin to open up our church. We want to thank the Gauldlip family for live streaming the masses so that our parish community can attend from home.

Lee Family

Mike and Mary’s daughter Anna has spent several months in the hospital and going through rehab. Through her ordeal she has always had her family by her side. They are very thankful to our council and to the parish community for all of the support and prayers during this difficult time. We want to acknowledge them as Family of the Month for demonstrating the unity of a catholic family and reminding us of the importance of prayer during a family crisis.

Meuse Family

Now more than ever, many in our communities are struggling and unable to provide adequate food to their families. Walter Meuse and his wife Margaret run the food pantry at church. The food pantry continues to open on Friday’s for our parish and community families. At 3pm they take food donations. From 3:30 to 4:30 they serve the community.
