MOYLAN, Arthur Joseph Jr., 83, of Gilbert, AZ, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017. Art was born in Chicago, IL on April 22, 1934 to the late Arthur J. Moylan, Sr. and late Helen Wroblewski Moylan. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Rooney and his brother, Jimmy. Art is survived by sisters, Corliss Bond and Kathy Oakley; brothers, Tommy and Timmy; his three children, Sheri (Bill) Wardle, Kelly (Dave) and Michael (Tonia); their mom, Sandy Gates; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews. Art and his family lived in Addison, IL until moving to Tucson, AZ in 1986. Throughout his live he was very active in the Catholic Church; serving as an usher and a 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus. Late last year, Art's lifelong hopes were answered and "There's always next year" finally came to an end, when he watched his beloved Chicago Cubs win the World Series! Art (aka Dad, Papa, Arthur J, Unc and Uncle Artie) touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His loving spirit and silly sense of humor will definitely carry on. A Special thank you to the kind staff at Brookdale North Gilbert for their loving care of our dad over the past year. Services will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Tucson, AZ on Thursday, November 30, 2017. Viewing at 11:00 a.m., followed by Mass at 12:30 p.m. Final interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL with graveside services and burial at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer's Association (alz.org) in Art's name.
