Walter E. Young Loving husband, father, brother and friend passed away June 6, 2006, at the age of 83. He was a native Tucsonan born on June 10, 1922 to Walter and Lillian Young. Walter is loved and will be greatly missed by his sons, Walter of Tucson, Michael (Judy) of North Carolina and Philip; daughters, Susan (Terry) Lauffer and Caroline (Dan) Wagner both of Marana; grandchildren, Christopher, Scott, Craig, Mary and Julie Wagner, Michael, Kimberly and Stephen Young and Justin and Jeffrey Lauffer; one great-granddaughter, Marissa Wagner and brother, Carl Young ofTucson. Preceded in death by his wife, Virginia of 48 years; son, Stephen and dear friend, Jodie Munoz. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. Walter retired from the Arizona Highway Department in 1987. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, a Eucharistic Minister and Senior Knight in Knights of Col um bus. Visitation will be held at ADAIR FUNERAL HOME, Dodge Chapel, 1050 N. Dodge on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Josephs Catholic Church, 215 S. Craycraft on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Dad and Grandpa, thanks or your thoughtfulness, kindness and love you have shown us. We Love You. |
