Vincent (Vinnie) Baiocchetti died on June 22, 2017 at the VA hospital in Tucson.

Vinnie was born in 1936 in Hartford, CT and served in the United States Military for 45 years, retiring in 1999 from the Army National Guard. He was a Chief Warrant Officer 5, Master Aviator, and founder of the local chapter of the US Army Warrant Officers' Association in Tucson.

He served every office in Council #10441 and as the Grand Knight from 2001-2002. He led our Admission (1st degree) exemplification teams and enforced the proper protocols at our council meetings. He was always an active member of Assembly 2392 serving in the Color Corps & Patriotic Honor Guard and as the Faithful Navigator from 2003-2004. As a member of the Elks Lodge 2815, Vinnie was known for his bi-monthly lasagna and meatball dinners. He shared his love of cooking with our council Knights and the parish on many occasions, including officer installation dinners and fundraisers. He was a significant force behind our Lenten Soup Fridays.

He is buried at New Francis Cemetery in Torrington, CT.
