ASSEMBLY #1981 - BISHOP PAUL F. REDING REMEMBERS
ROBERT CASTONGUAY
FEBRUARY 2020

I was so blessed and thankful for an amazing life full of friendship and family. As many of you know, this last year was a journey for me as I tried to beat cancer. I was very grateful to have the support and love of so many friends and family, that saw me through to the end of my journey. My greatest support came from the love of my life, my wife Theresa. We had so many adventures together, from traveling in our trailer, raising our two daughters, and seeing our three grandchildren enter this world. She was by my side through it all, caring for me and being my rock. Our marriage is one for the books, a love that will live on in the hearts of our family forever. Our eldest daughter, Sara, married the love of her life, Vanda, and together they gave us three wonderful grandchildren, Jacob, Nora and Bennett. My three grandchildren brought me so much love, laugher and joy and I know this will live on in their hearts forever. My youngest daughter Samantha shares her love with Eric, they are making a life together with so many more adventures to come. I am excited for my next spiritual journey as I join my big brother Paul, but will certainly miss the days on the hot beaches of Mexico with Lionel, Elfreda, Jocelyn and Crystal. There are countless memories spent with so many of you over the years. I couldn’t begin to give thanks to you all. However, please know that each of you touched my heart in so many ways and you should all know I’ll be watching.
