ASSEMBLY #2392 - MSGR. DON H. HUGHES REMEMBERS
BILL NEER
MAY 2019

Sir Knight William “Bill” Neer. As many of you know, Bill for the last year has fought a long hard battle. Many of us thought that he had won that battle. He was moving forward ready to tackle the next task at hand. But a setback was more than his body could handle.

Bill left us May 8th draped with our Nations Flag and surrounded by his dear wife, Gail, and daughter Melinda.

Bill retired from the United States Air Force as an O-4 (Major) he served our Country with Honor and Distinction.

Bill joined the Knights of Columbus at Council #10441, and soon after Assembly #2392. Bill held many officer positions in the Knights, including Faithful Navigator, Color Corps Commander, and Grand Knight. During Bill's year as Faithful Navigator, his tremendous dedication and perseverance earned Assembly #2392 recognition as the Arizona Assembly of the Year for 2016-2017.

Bill was interred with military honors at the Arizona Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Marana, Arizona.
