Worthies All: Please forward to all members; we have a annual event coming August 8th the procession/mass of the statue of San Francesco di Paolo located at 3800 Division Street Stone Park at 10:00 AM. The Knights have always supported this annual event in the pass. This is the same Italian Organization that does the Parade for Christopher Columbus, they need our support and would as many SK to be in attendance. Our Assembly has been requested to supply a Color Guard for this upcoming parade on Friday, August 20, 2021. Your presence is requested for this upcoming event. Please check your calendars and register to participate if your schedule allows: EVENT: Elburn Days Parade LOCATION: Pierce Street West of Read Street in the middle of the block (see the attached PDF file for more details). We will be in spot #51 (spots are numbers on the street) DATE: Friday, August 20, 2021 @ 6:00pm (Assemble by 4:30pm), Line up is at 5:15pm. PARKING: It would be best if everyone parked in Lion's Park. Lion's Park is behind the Bob Jass Chevy Dealership. It will be about a 8 block walk to the staging area (to the north across the train tracks). The parade will end near Lion's Park. Must have full Uniform (No button collar on your white shirt). Brother of the Fourth Honor Guard: Request from both father of this parish and our Deputy Grand Knight posted here in threw the direction Mark Kuczera. Commander Schuring will be at the 4pm mass for set up and will have things organized "quietly" for brothers whom may be at mass during this time. We ask you try to be at back of church after the Eucharish. Try and have all equipment needed to be ready after mass. Thank you brothers whom our able to make this call out. Going forward we hope each house we serve always has a minimum of Six Sir Knights at the call for such events as these. I willing to bet St. Elezabeth come pretty close to this marking which mean this team is moving in the right direction. See you on Saturday, please stay safe till then. "See you at the Top!"
