Veterans Day Mass at St. Thomas |

Good Evening Sir Brother Knights, I have information regarding Veterans Day. The evening will begin with a pre-concert at 6:30pm, and proceed to a 7:00pm Mass. There will be a reception to follow. This special event will be publicized to the community and a number of veterans will be in attendance. I would like for our parish to show their support, so the presence of the Knights would be wonderful! I will outline my general vision, and please advise with the proper protocols where necessary. At the beginning of the concert, I have asked our Scouts to do a Color Guard following brief opening remarks. The singing of the National Anthem will follow. Would it be possible to have an Honor Guard with the Knights at the beginning of Mass? For the reception, I will be asking members from the music ministry to bring refreshments as they have done in the past for their concerts. I should be able to find volunteers to help serve and pour drinks. Would any members of the Knights be willing to stick around after to help with cleanup? Let me know your thoughts. Thank you!
